Starting from a few updates back then, Beatbox adds the intergration with Plank in showing the process  and progress of importing your library into Beatbox itself

Kinda nifty

  2. Yes, I get that, your work on this blog is much appreciated. Still I don't see the point in all these forks...

    1. Ahh thank you :)

Well, both music players has their own philosophy, and both works great. Maybe some users may prefer Beatbox over Noise and vice versa, so when it is released, users has their freedom to customize it to their liking.

I'm guessing elementary os is gonna hit beta as soon as the major bugs we're "settled"

    1. The different is that beatbox is not going to use granite and is not going to implement new file's views that's why elementary forked it, and of course noise and beatbox are developing new feactures and the both apps are going to get benefits of the new thing developed on the other project.

I think that beatbox is better than noise, it's has less bugs and the new Artist Overview (new feacture)
