Though it may still be early to judge, the overall UI is a bit too plain

Switchboard: Margin update

Noticeable now that each plug align themselves in a symmetrical order. 

Not only that, the icons are now slightly bigger which utilizes the size of 32px.

Switchboard - Startup Application

Startup Application will now be available in your Switchboard if you have just updated it

It's kinda weird to have a drop down window as other plugs shows their settings inside Switchboard itself

Gala - Expose has landed

The feature that everyone has been waiting for has landed - Expose in the latest update from elementary daily ppa

From this update, Expose is available in 2 modes, grid or natural

For grid, it arranges your windows in predetermined grid values which is consistent while natural arranges your windows much less consistent

You can set the expose on which corner to be activated from your Switchboard's Desktop Plug

You can install this plug from elementary daily ppa by

sudo apt-get install switchboard-plug-pantheon-shell

To choose from the two modes, you need dconf-editor which can be installed by

sudo apt-get install dconf-tools

And navigate to org.pantheon.desktop.gala.behavior and change window overview type from the drop down menu

Incase you found any bugs, please do not hesitate to report them at Gala launchpad

Switchboard - Default Application Plug

A new plug has hit the daily ppa, switchboard-plug-default-applications enables you to changes the default application used in your desktop

And yes, Switchboard icon size has been reverted back to 32px as a request from DanRabbit

Imo, it looks good on both sizes

Pantheon Desktop Plug

Here is a video showcasing the new Pantheon Desktop Plug from daily ppa

It has the settings for the dock itself, Plank, wallpaper, desktop theme and shadow configuration and also hot corners settings

This plug is still in development and there might be a few bugs lingering

I have also show the Appearance plug, but I'm not sure whether it will be included in the release as Pantheon Desktop Plug is much more complete

You can try this plug by installing it from this ppa

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:elementary-os/daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install switchboard-plug-pantheon-shell 

Btw, i'm using dual monitor

Switchboard - Appearance Plug

Here is the new Appearance plug which you are able to change wallpaper, desktop theme, Plank theme and settings at the same time

You can install this from elementary daily ppa 

The package is called switchboard-plug-appearance

Switchboard Update - Animation

The new Switchboard has been updated with animation where when specific plug/setting is being clicked, an animation transition is being shown before being brought into the "setting" itself

Though, the icons are a bit smaller than expected

From the mockup, we can see that it's pretty straight forward and user friendly
