IMPORTANT: Granite Mischief

For those of you who are using the elementary daily ppa or elementary os daily build, you may not be able to login into your desktop as Pantheon Greeter does not show up and application may not be able to find libgranite

Granite's evil has come again !

To fix this, press CTRL + ALT + F2 to enter into terminal

Login with your username and password

And then type the following:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:midori/midori-dev

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install 'libgranite0=0.2-0~r433+pkg31~precise1'

The newer version of Granite in the daily ppa will fix this problem

Ps: At the time of writing, the latest fixed Granite is still being built in the daily ppa

Happy testing

Taking longer than expected

As we all know, elementary is in preparation for Beta 1 which everyone is anticipated about.

However, it seems like it is taking a much longer time as usual.

In reassurance to that, elementary team always emphasize on the motto of "When it's ready" - easily interpreted that the team would not rush the project in favor of a predetermined date.

Elementary team is set to deliver high quality materials to their users and not just for the sake of releasing it.
